Why Weed Fabric Is A Waste Of Money!

Weed fabric is a huge waste of money as you can see here. After a year or two the weeds will grow right on top of the fabric. So what we do to keep the weeds down instead of fabric is apply a pre emergent we use snap shot. We apply this 3 times per season, one time in the spring, summer and fall. Once this gets built up in the soil and mulch the weeds will be minimal. Then we go through either weekly when we mow or when we fertilize and apply a post emergent spray to kill any weeds that still germinated. This method works wonders and keeps your beds more weed free.
