Well the answer is yes and no. There are dangers both ways. If you leave it on and you dont get all the water out of the rpz it can crack and costs a lot to replace. If you take it off as you see here in the video the pipe going in the ground can settle and cause an expense to have to dig up and raise the pipe back in line.‍
